Samsahra: A band and vision, out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Combining elements of metal, rock, fusion, jazz and just about everything in between makes it tough to pin them down into just one style. Paying homage to their influences while straying from the beaten path, Samsahra has created a sound that is immediately accessible while remaining distinct and uniquely – Samsahra.

The bands name is derived from the Hindu term samsara, which refers to the cycle of birth, death and rebirth – reincarnation. Samsahra has definitely lived up to their name, gaining strength and momentum with each struggle they’ve overcome. The shared vision that is Samsahra has persevered and emerged, once again, stronger then before.

Samsahra has built a strong following of passionate and dedicated fans, and has earned the opportunity to share the stage with some amazing bands. Such as Static-X, Nonpoint, Nothingface, American Head Charge, In this Moment, Dope, Rikets, Dry Kill Logic, Ankla, Silent Civilian, Bobflex, and many more.

In Fall 2010 Samsahra toured the Midwest & North East USA with National Recording Artist:Destrophy (Victory Records) further expanding their already long musical reach to fans regionally and abroad.

2010 has been a year of rebirth, exploration and determination for Samsahra. With a new album in the works and even more touring plans being laid this is the band to watch.
